Chelsea Handler, an American comedian and actress, sat down for an interview with Page Six where she gave her thoughts on the ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
“The reason it’s such a frenzy is that they keep releasing more and more stuff,” she remarked, “Stop it. You’re not helping yourself.”
“It’s like you have to break up a fight in a schoolyard playground. … It’s like, ‘Don’t they know to stop?’ Isn’t someone saying, ‘Stop it!’?,’” she added.
Preparing for the release of her 7th book, I'll Have What She's Having on February 25, she previously commented on the battle during the Critics Choice Awards.
The comedian joked that in difficult times it’s important “to have a distraction, and that's why I want to personally extend my gratitude to Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.”
“I think we're all grateful — and I think we're good," she added. "I think everybody in this room, no matter whose side you're on, we can all agree to accept that there's probably not going to be a sequel."
Blake Lively is suing her former co-star Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment, defamation and causing distress while he has filed a countersuit of $400 million for defamation.
