Ben Affleck is ‘casually dating’ after Jennifer Lopez split

Ben Affleck is already making a return to the dating market after settling his divorce with Jennifer Lopez on 6 January, according to People.

"Ben's casually dating,” revealed a source, “This doesn't seem to be a focus though.”

Allegedly being “very focused on work”, if "he's not filming, he spends long days at his office.”

The source added that the actor spends “a lot of time” with the children he shares with Jennifer Garner, Violet Anne, 19, Seraphina Rose, 16, and Samuel, 12, “They are very close.”

The news comes after it was announced by the Los Angeles County Superior Court on 21 February that the two are “legally single” as their marriage is now dissolved.

Focusing on his work, Affleck spoke about his upcoming thriller RIP at the 2025 Next on Netflix Special Presentation in L.A, saying, "This movie takes a look at the things people will do for money.”

Why did Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez split?

Jennifer Lopez filed for separation from Ben Affleck in August 2024, claiming that they had separated in April, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.

The singer filed for it at the Los Angeles County Superior Court without an attorney, and asked her for old name, Jennifer Lynn Lopez, to be restored.
