Ben Affleck returns for exciting new ‘The Accountant 2’ trailer
'The Accountant 2' will be making its way to theaters on April 25
The trailer for the highly awaited sequel to The Accountant has finally dropped, bringing Ben Affleck back to the big screen.
Gavin O’Connor made his return after directing the original 2016 flick which boasted a star studded cast that included Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
Simmons, Addai-Robinson as well as Bernthal will be returning to reprise their roles along with Affleck as Christian Wolff.
The synopsis reads, “When her former boss is killed by unknown assassins, Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) is forced to contact Christian Wolff (Affleck) to solve the murder. With the help of his estranged but highly lethal brother Brax (Jon Bernthal), Chris applies his brilliant mind and less-than-legal methods to piece together the unsolved puzzle.”
“As they get closer to the truth, the trio draw the attention of some of the most ruthless killers alive -- all intent on putting a stop to their search,” it continues.
The flick will be making its way to theaters on April 25.
Kendrick will noticeably not be returning for the sequel, however, she will be joining Amazon MGM Studios for A Simple Favor 2.
