Prince Harry has been considering moving back and forth the U.S. and the U.K. after meeting his ailing father King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex, who is currently in Canada for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go celebrations with his wife Meghan Markle, told Good Morning America’s Will Reeve.

Upon asking whether he would still stay apart from his father after his cancer diagnosis, Harry replied, "I have my own family, as we all do. My family and my life in California is as it is. I've got other trips planned that would take me through the U.K. or back to the U.K."

"So I'll stop in and see my family as much as I can," the 39-year-old former royal said.

The Spare author also confirmed that he talked to the King, 75, on call before rushing to see him in person after the tragic news.

"I spoke to him. I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could," he told the son of the late Superman star Christopher Reeve.

Harry went on to express his gratitude for meeting his father, "Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that."

Reeve further asked about Harry’s perspective on the monarch’s health, which he preferred to keep close to his heart, noting, "That stays between me and him."

Notably, this is the first time the youngest offspring of Charles’ has opened up on his father’s health after his one-day stay in the U.K. last week.
