Taylor Swift resumed the second leg of her Eras tour in Tokyo, Japan, following her two wins at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The Blankspace hitmaker hit the stage on Wednesday to kick off her sold-out eras tour.
The Cruel Summer chart-topper seemed in good spirits as she appeared before the Swifties that jam-packed the 55,000-seat Tokyo Dome Stadium.
The four-night Tokyo concerts marked the beginning of her month-long sold-out stints in Asia, followed by a brief break in which she will rush back to Las Vegas to mark her presence at boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl game on February 11.
Swift, 34, performances are lined up in the capital city of Japan till February 10, just a day before Super Bowl LVIII however, there will be some time in which she can jet to Sin City on Saturday night for the game night.
The Midnight songstress’ Tokyo gig came on the heels of her historic win at the 66th Annual Music Awards ceremony when Swift set a new record with her fourth Album of the Year win.
With the two new Gramophones clinched on the weekends, she became the first and only person to bag four Grammys for the album, a feat no performer has achieved.
On Sunday night, the Love Story Crooner first netted the award for best pop vocal performance and used the opportunity to announce that she will release The Tortured Poets Department on April 19.
Before the title revelation, she said, "I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years."
