‘Barbie’ is leaving every Warner Bros. movie behind.

As of Monday, "Barbie" will surpass "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" as Warner Bros.' highest-grossing international release.

Its weekend performance brought in $18.2 million from 12,852 screens across 75 different countries, bringing its overall revenue to a record-breaking $1.34 billion.

And it hasn't stopped setting records yet. It appears likely that "Barbie" will shortly surpass "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" to take first place at the global box office for the entire year.

Then there is Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer," which has made $29.1 million from 7,555 screens in 82 countries and is rapidly approaching the $800 million mark at the global box office.

This results in a staggering $777 million worldwide gross for the biography about J. Robert Oppenheimer and the development of the atomic bomb, an astounding sum for a grim R-rated drama.

The prospect of a Chinese debut is approaching.

The worldwide total for Sony's "Gran Turismo" increased by $11 million, reaching a little over $53 million. The racing adventure won the top spot at the domestic box office with $17.3 million, but when the total numbers are added up, "Barbie" might take the top spot.

"Meg 2: The Trench" generated an additional $15,244k from 16,224 screens in 77 foreign markets. Its whole revenue now stands at $352.5 million. In contrast to other Hollywood movies that have recently failed in China, "Meg 2" has benefited greatly from the market, making $112.9 million.
