George and Amal Clooney celebrated Alexander and Ella's sixth birthday with a family vacation
George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney marked their twin children's birthdays with a sunny vacation in Italy.
In photos shared online, the couple, who have largely kept their kids Ella and Alexander out of the public eye, were seen enjoying some family time at Lake Como.
The Ticket of Paradise star as well as the human rights lawyer enjoyed a boat ride with their children near their second home.
In the midst of family celebrations, the couple also snuck in some date nights as photos from the days prior showed the pair enjoying dinner at a swanky restaurant.
The couple first met each other in 2013 after a mutual friend hooked them up.
In an interview with People, George recalled the first time he laid eyes on his wife.
"It's the wildest thing. A mutual friend of ours said, 'I'm stopping by and can I bring my friend?' And I was like, 'Of course.' I got a call from my agent who called me and said, 'I met this woman who's coming to your house who you're gonna marry,'" the star recalled.
A year later, George proposed and the pair married at Venice City Hall which was followed up by a lavish wedding celebration in 2014.
Three years later in 2017, they welcomed their twin children Alexander and Ella.
