Travis Scott's new track throws shade at Timothée Chalamet

Travis Scott has potentially addressed the speculations surrounding his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner's dating life in his new song MELTDOWN. 

The song is part of his 19-track album Utopia, released on Friday (28 July).

Earlier this year, news broke that Travis and Kylie officially ended their on-and-off relationship, which had begun in 2017. 

The former couple shares two children, five-year-old daughter Stormi and one-year-old son Aire.

Subsequently, rumors emerged about Kylie's alleged connection with 27-year-old actor Timothée Chalamet from Call Me By Your Name. 

Reports suggested that the two were "hanging out and getting to know each other," although nothing has been confirmed.

In Travis Scott's new song some listeners speculate that he may be addressing the situation with a possible snub towards Timothée Chalamet. However, the lyrics and message behind the song remain open to interpretation.

The lines in question go, "Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs got the/ Willy Wonka factory (Vs)/ Burn a athlete like it’s calories find another flame/ hot as me, b****."

The mention of "Willy Wonka factory" appears to be a clear reference to Chalamet's portrayal of the famous fictional chocolatier in the highly anticipated musical feature film, Wonka. 

Directed by Paul King, the movie is set to hit theaters on December 15 and is intended as a prequel to Roald Dahl's beloved children's book, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

Recent lyrics sparked reactions from Twitter users, with some coming to the defense of Timothée Chalamet. 

One Twitter user praised Chalamet as a "class act" and a "true gentleman," highlighting his talent as a humble and talented actor.
