While both women are incredibly successful, they are still far from the top of the list. The richest woman in America is Diane Hendricks, the widow of Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus. Hendricks has a net worth of $15 billion.

Other women in the top 10 include Judy Love, the owner of Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores ($10.2 billion); Judy Faulkner, the founder of Epic Systems ($7.4 billion); and Lynda Resnick, the co-owner of The Wonderful Company ($5.3 billion).

Swift and Jenner made their fortunes through different means. Swift is a singer and songwriter who has sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Jenner is a reality TV star and the founder of Kylie Cosmetics.
