Macbook Pro with OLED is a dream that’s a little far from coming to reality right now.

According to a fresh source, Apple's OLED MacBook Pro models will now be available in 2027, however, the iPad Pro is still expected to receive these posh panels in 2019.

The Omdia market research company, which made these claims at a recent conference, is cited in the post from Korean tech site The Elec (via 9 to 5 Mac), a source of numerous hardware rumours.

OLED-equipped MacBook Pro models were anticipated to debut in 2026, according to Omdia, but it appears that date has been postponed by another year.

The MacBook Pro is not Apple's top priority when it comes to OLED updates, according to previous rumours, and the company is more likely to introduce the new display technology in a MacBook Air first.

According to rumours, it will be released in 2017 along with those iPad Pro variants. Ross Young, an expert on the display sector, and Ming-Chi Kuo, another well-known Apple leaker, both made the same prediction.

According to the rumour, Apple is still on schedule to update both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models of the iPad Pro with OLED at some point in 2019.

Currently, Apple's mini-LED display technology is used in the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, while an LED display is used in the 11-inch iPad Pro. The iPad Pro would switch to OLED sometime in 2019 if this rumour comes true (source: The Elec).
