Keith Urban performs at CMA Fest in Nashville

Keith Urban rocked the CMA Fest in Nashville.

On Saturday, during his performance at the Country Music Association (CMA) Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, Keith Urban stormed the stage.

The 55-year-old Australian musician performed the tunes, living up to his reputation as one of the biggest country music stars in the world.

The four-time Grammy Award winner wore a tight black shirt with ripped pants to show off his tattoos and muscular arms.

As he sang for a cheering throng at the centre of country music, the singer beamingly played his guitar.

His characteristically long hair was also on display.

The 50th CMA Fest was held this year, and it was hailed as Music City's greatest and best yearly festival of country music.

Tanya Tucker, Ashley McBryde, and Tim McGraw were among the artists who were on the Nissan Stadium Main Stage where Keith performed.

Keith Urban 'would like to stay married!'

It follows the singer's revelation that his marriage to Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman kept him sober.

The singer battled drug and alcohol addiction in the public eye and frequently checked himself into rehab; his most recent admission was to the Betty Ford Centre in October 2006.

It had only been a few months after Nicole and I had wed.

Speaking to The Sun last month, Keith acknowledged that his marriage plays a significant role in his decision to maintain sobriety and avoid difficulties.

'I'd like to stay married!' Keith said.
