Doja Cat appears to be saddened by the fact that she hasn’t made it to the 2026 Grammys, as she took to social media to express her disappointment.
The Paint The Town Red rapper seemed to be downcast by the snub from the Recording Academy, as she told fans on X (formerly Twitter).
In one tweet, the Woman singer wrote “i want gramy,” with a sad face emoji followed by another one writing, “i’m not legible,” with another sad face.
It appears that the Grammy winner was not eligible to win the award next year since the cutoff date ended on August 30, 2025, meanwhile her fifth studio album Vie came out on September 26, 2025.
A majority of Doja’s fans took to the comments to console her, while others made fun of her spelling error in the second tweet.
“Doja can’t get gramy. Doja release too late!” one internet user wrote in response, "release a deluxe of vie before it completely falls off the charts and submit next year,” added another.
“Did learning the french word "vie" take some of your english away?? baby "legible" isn’t the correct word here,” a netizen wrote under her second tweet.
Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Zandile Dlamini, uses the stage name to represent her love for marijuana and cats.
