Niall Horan shares rare insight into private romance with Amelia Woolley

Niall Horan is basking in the love for his girlfriend.

The One Direction alum, who released his third studio album titled, The Show, on Friday, admitted to getting inspired by his girlfriend for some of the tracks in the album.

The singer has been romantically linked to Amelia Woolley since early 2020.

When the interviewer pointed out the undertone of the album being in a relationship, the Slow Hands singer said, "Yeah, 100%. I’m in a relationship, so I think that comes with [it]."

"Usually it’s the love songs are heartbreak songs, so it’s nice to be able to write better, you know, more happier stuff," he gushed.

Horan also dished on the fashion buyer’s reaction to the songs about her, saying, "I think she’s just like, what? Really? She’s like, taken aback, I suppose."

Reflecting on his decision to keep his relationship out of the public eye, the Voice coach explained, "If everyone knew everything, [my songwriting] wouldn’t be as candid, would it?"

"There’d be all these theories, and I’m not in town for that. I’m here to write what’s on my brain, and love happens to be one of those things that’s flying around me," he added.
