Danny Bonaduce to undergo brain surgery following hydrocephalus diagnosis

Danny Bonaduce is gearing up to undergo brain surgery after being diagnosed with hydrocephalus.

The 63-year-old television personality spoke to TMZ and detailed his diagnosis and his current state, revealing that he "can’t walk." "I just can’t," he said.

The actor is unsure of how he developed the neurological condition, which is characterized by an accumulation of fluid in the brain's ventricles.

However, he noted that it may have stemmed from his 2009 boxing match with former MLB star José Canseco or the time a guitar was smashed on his head on a reality TV show.

"I’m never gonna run track, I’m never gonna box again, but if I can get from here to the kitchen on my own, bravo," enthused Bonaduce.

The Patridge Family alum was met with a bout of concern from fans and fellow celebrities alike.

Alison Arngrim, the Little House on the Prairie star, took to Twitter to send her prayers and thoughts over for Bonaduce.

"If I told you what a nice person he actually is, in [real] life, I’d ruin his image, LOL," she wrote.

Bonaduce replied to Arngrim, saying, "You’ve always had my back. Thank you."

One fan of the radio personality wished him "the very best" in another tweet, hoping to see him "back to yourself soon."
