Liv Tyler will reprise her role as Betty Ross in Captain America: New World Order

Marvel fans can finally rejoice after it was revealed that Liv Tyler will make her return to the studios 15 years after first starring in The Incredible Hulk.

Tyler has been cast in Captain America 4, which is titled Captain America: New World Order, as her reprised role of Betty Ross. 

Ross, a scientist, is the daughter of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who was portrayed by the late William Hurt in multiple movies and will now be essayed by Harrison Ford in the upcoming installment.

Incredible Hulk first released in 2008, where Tyler was last seen, as Marvel's second feature to Iron Man following the launch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Through the years actors from the movie made multiple appearances in other projects Tyler did not appear again until this recent development confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.

Alongside Tyler, Carl Lumbly will reprise his role as super-soldier Isaiah Bradley with "Danny Ramirez, returning as Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s Joaquin Torres; and MCU newcomer Shira Haas. Anthony Mackie is toplining the feature as Sam Wilson, inhabiting the mantle of Captain America for the first time on the big-screen."

Julius Onah will be directing the movie with shooting ongoing in Atlanta.

Falcon and the Winter Solider show creator Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson wrote the script.

It is expected that the movie will release in 2024.
