The Disney alumnus was tagged in an Instagram image on Monday by the Only Murders in the Building actress, 30, who posted two makeup-free selfies with the phrase "Violet chemistry."

Endless Summer Vacation, Cyrus' eighth studio album, which was released on Friday and is dubbed "a love letter to L.A.", is referenced in the caption.

The song's chorus features the following words, which Cyrus delivers over a melodious beat: "Stay awhile, stay awhile with me / Stay awhile, don't deny the violet chemistry / Stay awhile, stay awhile with me / Stay awhile, put your arms around me / Put them around me."

Gomez displayed her natural beauty as she stared directly into the camera in one photo and grinned in the other, matching the confidence in the song's lyrics.

Although Cyrus has not yet responded to the tweet, several fans have seen her mention it in the comments section. One person wrote: "MILEY COLLAB WHEN???," while another just wrote: "The Miley reference."

The couple resurfaced for the first time "since we spent all that time on Disney together" in April 2020 when the Wizards of Waverly Place alum featured on Cyrus' Instagram show, Bright Minded, to highlight issues regarding mental health.
