Ed Sheeran sent his fans into a frenzy after dropping bombshell news during his TikTok Presents: Play Live from New York City performance.
On September 13, the 34-year-old singer gave a high-energy concert in the Big Apple, playing a few songs from his latest album, Play.
After concluding his show, Sheeran waved at the crowd for their attention and said, “This wasn’t part of the plan, I wasn’t going to announce or anything, but next week we’re going to announce the US tour next spring.”
He thanked the audience for having him, as the performance was an open-air event; a few people peeked out of their balconies to catch a glimpse of the chart-topping artist.
The Perfect hitmaker pointed towards them and jokingly added, “Also, people on the roof, thanks for watching.”
