Hailey Bieber is marking one year since her “life-changing event.”

The 26-year-old supermodel took to Instagram to re-share a video from last year where she detailed her suffering a mini-stroke which led to the diagnosis of a condition called patent foramen ovale.

“Can't believe it's been 1 year since I suffered a mini stroke that led to my PFO diagnosis,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

“Given that it's the 1 year mark from such a life changing event, I wanted to share all the information I've learned about PFO and share resources to donate,” the Rhode mogul noted.

Patent Foramen Ovale or PFO is a congenital heart defect in which a hole in the heart didn’t close after birth, as per Mayo Clinic.

In a video shared on her YouTube channel last year, the Vogue model recalled feeling “a weird sensation in her right arm and numbness in her fingertips before she was admitted to hospital.”

She explained that her husband Justin Bieber noticed that “something was off,” and upon asking if she was okay, Hailey “couldn’t speak.”

“The right side of my face started drooping, I couldn't get a sentence out,” she shared.

The Yummy singer rushed the model to the hospital, where it was confirmed that she suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA), more commonly referred to as a mini-stroke.
