Gwyneth Paltrow wishes her ex.

Chris Martin is being honoured by Gwyneth Paltrow on his special day.

In an Instagram post, Paltrow, 50, wished the "sweetest father and friend" and Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, who turns 46 on Thursday, a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday to the sweetest father and friend, we love you, cajm," the actress wrote, spelling out Martin's initials.

One day after Brad Falchuk, Gwyneth Paltrow's husband, who also had a message posted on Instagram for his birthday, comes Martin's.

While requesting that her followers "wish him a happy birthday, anyway," Paltrow made a joke on Wednesday about Falchuk, now 52, being "so cool" for not even using the social media site.

In the caption, Paltrow wrote, "He won't see this as he's not on social (another reason why he's so cool) but let's all wish him a happy birthday, anyway," beside a picture of her spouse, whom she wed in 2018.

When hanging together backstage at one of Martin's Coldplay concerts in 2002, Paltrow and Martin first became friends. They started dating and were married in 2003. Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, were born to Paltrow and Martin throughout their ten-year marriage.

The couple revealed their separation in a piece titled "Conscious Uncoupling" on the Goop website in March 2014.
