Hailey Bieber limits comments on social media amid Selena Gomez drama

Hailey Bieber has limited her social media comments in the wake of her recent drama with Selena Gomez.

It could be seen that the 26-year-old kept her comments limited on Friday ever since she began receiving backlash for apparently shading the singer.

In her latest post on Instagram, the model shared a photos from a date night with her husband Justin Bieber and notably on those people she follows commented on the post.

This comes against the backdrop of Selena announcing that she is taking a social media break due to the "silly" drama that had her involved with the Rhode Beauty founder.

"I’m gonna be taking a second from social media ’cause this is a little silly and I’m 30," Selena announced in a TikTok live. "I’m too old for this."

"I love you guys so much and I will see you guys sooner than later. I just have to take a break from everything."

What happened between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber 

The drama emerged after Selena defended her best friend Taylor Swift when a clip made rounds on TikTok where Hailey was seen throwing shade at Taylor by making a disgusted expression when her album was mentioned.

It was seen that Method Man, who was co-host of Drop The Mic, said that there would be a rap fight with the "meanest songs about a celebrity since Taylor Swift's last album" that caused Hailey to make a throwing up face.

The video was captioned, "This is REAL Hailey "Bieber,"" which also called Hailey as a bully and a "mean girl"

Selena then proceeded to comment, "So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game" which led fans to believe that she agreed with calling Hailey "mean".
