The stunt double of Eminem, Ryan Shepard, who served the musician in the early 2000s, died tragically at 40 after he was struck by a truck while crossing the street. 

Kyle, Ryan's brother, told TMZ, that Ryan passed away at the end of January in Washington after he was hit by an approaching pickup truck. 

He was taken rushed to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Ryan famously worked as Eminem's stunt duplicate, picture double, and stand-in and made appearances at the MTV Movie Awards as Rap Boy, Eminem's heroic alter ego.

Along with stage performances he joined the rapper on his 2002 Anger Management Tour and his 2003 Japan and Europe Tour, he also played Eminem's double in D12's Purple Hills music video.

Ryan is survived by two children, a 7-year-old and an 11-year-old.
