BTS’s Jin ranks on top on Shazam’s weekly Top 10 artists

BTS’s Jin stays on top.

The international music identification platform published its Week's Top 10 Artists list for the first week of the month on January 7 KST, with Jin retaining the top spot for a record-breaking 14 weeks.

This becomes the first and longest first-place record for a Korean artist and the longest first-place among artists worldwide in 2022.

With this, Jin became the first K-pop artist to top Shazam's Global Weekly Top 10 Artists lists for both solo and group categories.

The list also includes singers from Nigeria and the United States, such as Lady Gaga and Rema.

As was previously mentioned, Jin recently astounded fans with a unique message that was recorded prior to his military leave. It appears from the announcement that while he is overseas for military duty, messages will be published monthly.
