Dolly Parton wears gloves, nobody ever noticed!

Dolly Parton has everyone stunned.

After watching Dolly Parton's performance at the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, TikTok user @hannahbearbraun recently posted a reaction video in which she expresses her disbelief and conviction that Dolly wears nude gloves.

The video's caption reads, "This clip fully convinced me of the skin-colored gloves theory," and it has received over 9.5 million views.

When asked about her propensity to wear longer sleeves frequently, Dolly revealed in a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair that she has tattoos to conceal wounds.

“I have a tendency to have keloid scar tissue, and I have a tendency where if I have any kind of scars anywhere then they kind of have a purple tinge that I can never get rid of. So mine [tattoos] are all pastels and they’re meant to cover some scars. I’m not trying to make some big, bold statement," she spoke with Vanity Fair.

Steve Summers, Dolly's creative director, stated to InStyle in 2019 that Dolly wears her fingerless gloves purely out of preference.

Summers responded to an inquiry concerning Dolly's hands, especially by saying, “[They ask] 'what’s wrong with her hands?' She’s 73, and she doesn’t like them! It’s a normal woman thing.”
