Dua Lipa not happy with being linked to controversial country Qatar

Pop star Dua Lipa feels weird over all the backlash she faced for not performing at the FIFA world cup. 

Before the soccer tournament kicked off on November 20, the Levitating singer issued a statement on Instagram, shutting down speculations that she would be delivering her soft vocals at the opening ceremony. 

The diva told Variety, "I really have nothing against Qatar, and I hope one day I will get the chance to go there. But I didn't like being amongst speculation that I was going to perform for something that really goes against my beliefs."

Recently, Lipa was given an Albanian citizenship.
