Nancy Pelosi is still reeling from the attack on her husband and made comments for the first time since then.

On October 28, Nacy Pelosi and husband Paul Pelosi were confronted by anonymous attackers who launched a brutal attack on Paul.

According to Variety, Pelosi read a letter to her colleagues which read, "Yesterday morning, a violent man broke into our family home, demanded to confront me and brutally attacked my husband Paul, Our children, our grandchildren and I are heartbroken and traumatized by the life-threatening attack on our Pop."

Pelosi explained that her husband had to receive skull surgery to repair the fractures he had. The surgery, according to Pelosi, was successful.

Expressing gratitude, she said, "We are grateful for the quick response of law enforcement and emergency services, and for the life-saving medical care he is receiving."

In the letter, Pelosi also added, "Please know that the outpouring of prayers and warm wishes from so many in the Congress is a comfort to our family and is helping Paul make progress with his recovery. His condition continues to improve."

American President Joe Biden condemned the violent attack on the speaker and her husband and called it "despicable."

He said, "There’s no place in America. There’s too much violence — political violence — too much hatred, too much vitriol."
