Kanye West's account has been restricted by Instagram for repeatedly violating the company's policies.

Meta has a policy of restricting a user's account as a result of repeatedly violating the guidelines. The restriction prevents the user from sharing posts, sending messages and writing comments on others' and one's own account.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Meta spokesperson has confirmed that the company deleted content from Kanye West's Instagram account. Although, it is not revealed which content has been deleted and the duration of the restriction.

Furthermore, West's account is still visible but has been placed under restriction after posting offensive and objectionable posts.

The recent post was an exchange between Kanye and Diddy where they allegedly used anti-Semitic language and were criticised by other social media users for doing so. It has since been deleted.

West also received backlash for making offensive comments on the jewish community  during his recent controversial appearance on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight.

However, this isn't the first time West has been called out for his social media presence. Back in March, his Instagram account was suspended as a result of using a slur against the former The Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
