King Charles is reportedly looking to opt for a more modest ceremony

King Charles III’s coronation ceremony will be held on June 3, 2023 at Westminster Abbey according to Bloomberg.

According to palace sources they are hoping that the ceremony will be held on the specific date but it is not yet confirmed.

Unlike his late mother Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles is speculated to have a much smaller ceremony.

While he ascended the throne two days after his mother’s death, the coronation ceremony will mark the beginning of his reign.

His wife Camilla will also be crowned as Queen Consort.

It is pertinent to mention that Charles, who is 74-years-old, will be the oldest person to be crowned king.
