While Princess Anne lives the royal life, her breakfast choice is more than questionable as the royal prefers "mouldy" bananas.
Former royal chef Darren McGrady made the strange revelation on Today saying: "Princess Anne almost always preferred the bananas almost black - over ripe - because they digested easier."
"First, the ends of the banana are cut off. Then the banana peel is sliced down the middle from end to end so the unpeeled fruit can be opened. The fruit is sliced into circles and eaten with a fork."
The preference for brown bananas could simply be for a more sweeter taste as all the starch and chlorophyll in the fruit gets broken down into sugar.
