The Church Has Broken It's Silence On Britney's Marriage

Britney Spears's news of her and her husband Sam Asghari not getting allowed to get married at the St. Monica Catholic Church was claimed falsely by the Church.

A rep for Santa Monica spoke to TMZ on Wednesday, stating that they checked their records and Spears never visited the church, let alone request them to host her wedding ceremony.

The Toxic singer had claimed the Catholic Church would not allow her to marry there because she isn’t Catholic.

Moreover, the 41-year-old said that they even requested a test for confirmation.

The spokesperson admitted they require at least one spouse to be a practicing Catholic in order to wed in the house of prayer.
