Prince William sits face-to face with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden, receives lavish gifts

The British royal Prince William is the host with the most as he set up a grand meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden, on Saturday.

William gave her a warm welcome to his plush palace digs at the London residence.

Kensington Palace via a statement confirmed, "The Duke of Cambridge held an audience with Ardern, 41, at his palace.''

In the image released by the officials William and Arden could be seen smiling as they chatted away while sitting on the sofa opposite each other.

The Duke of Cambridge looked handsome in a navy suit and blue dress shirt for the meet-up and Arden opted for a floral dress.

Not only this, the politician gifted a Women's Rugby World Cup jersey ahead of the match taking place this October, as per reports obtained by the New Zealand's Stuff.

On the other hand, she also purchased one of her favorite Children's books entitled Tulip and Doug: A Spud-Tacular Friendship Story. 

The meeting marked the first time William and Ardern had gotten together since he visited New Zealand in April 2019 following the tragic shootings at two mosques in the city of Christchurch, according to Harper's Bazaar.
