Jennifer Lopez in search of 'healthier work life balance' prior to marriage with Ben Affleck

Star Jennifer Lopez is looking to make positive changes in her life before marrying Ben Affleck, the love of her life.

The couple have been working on taking their relationship to new heights and have many times discussed their marriage prospects.

In response to fan questions on the JLO newsletter, the On The Floor singer said, "It’s super important for me, especially now, to prioritize my personal life and not just my work life."

"I started thinking differently 14 years ago when I had kids. Things have shifted for me. My perspective has gradually shifted toward a healthier work-life balance," she added.

"Now that I’m getting married, it’s all about my family. It’s about having enough time to be the woman, mother, partner, and person that I need to be for the important people in my life."

She concluded, "If it’s going to take time away from my family, it must be a very special project."
