Evan Rachel Wood extends her full support to Ashley Smithline after detailing alleged abuse by Marilyn Manson

American actress Evan Rachel Wood publicly announced her alliance with model Ashley Morgan Smithline as the latter came forward with her traumatic experience with Marilyn Manson.

Ashley detailed her allegedly abusive experiences with Marilyn in her first interview after she accused the artist of sexual and emotional abuse in February. While talking to PEOPLE, she said,

“I survived a monster.”

The 36-year-old model delved deeper into the subject and confessed more horrifying details including the blood pact the Coma White singer made her indulge in. On account of these bone-chilling anecdotes, Marilyn’s former lover Evan came forward and extended her full support to Ashley:

"I stand with you @ashleylindsaymorgan," Evan wrote on her Instagram story.

After Evan, Ashley Walters, Sarah McNeilly and Gabriella Accarino, also came forward to leave supportive comments on the model’s Instagram post.

Ashley appreciated the support she has received from other women, especially those who were involved with Marilyn Manson at some point in their lives.

"It's been really cathartic and good for all of us," she said. "It made things a lot easier."

She continued talking about the sisterhood that grew after Marilyn’s victims opened up about their alleged experiences.

"It was like looking at a room full of myself. All of the abuse, the gaslighting; he just has a very specific pattern."
