A wax statue of the former president of the United States, Donald Trump has been removed from the San Antonio, Texas museum after it was vandalized by the people. The museum authorities have transferred the statue into storage at the Louis Tussaud's Waxworks to save it from further damages.

After the statue sustained multiple punches and scratches on the face from the visitors, it was moved from the gallery to a storage unit, reported the San Antonio Express-News.

The museum's parent holder company, Ripley Entertainment’s spokesperson Suzanne Smagala-Potts said, "It's a presidential figure. Sometimes people will take a swipe at them, but they did that with Obama, Bush, and they've done it with celebrity figures as well. It's just something that happens."

Clay Stewart, regional manager of parent company Ripley's Entertainment, said that the scratches on Trump's statue's face were especially damaging. She said, "When it's a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem.” She further confirmed that the statue is currently still under production in Orlando.
