Rachel Lindsay is back on Instagram with a powerful message

On Saturday, Rachel Lindsay returned on Instagram after deactivating it because of being harassed over the ongoing debate involving racial discrimination in the Bachelor franchise.

The 35-year-old shared a picture of sunflowers and wrote, “I want to be like a sunflower so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight.”

Lindsay deleted her Instagram more than a week ago, she was getting criticism online for her interview with Chris Harrison.

Last week, Van Lathan posted a video on his Instagram and said, “My co-host on Higher Learning, Rachel Lindsay, disabled her Instagram earlier today. She did it because that's how much hate she's getting from Bachelor fans who are spamming her with all kinds of rude and hateful things to say.”

He added, “Y'all have got to get a f— life. Seriously. Rachel is not responsible for Chris Harrison, a 49-year-old man who can't read the room in these 2021 times. She's not responsible for that.”

He further added, “It's not her job to make excuses or provide cover for somebody who doesn't understand what the f— triggers people in today's world. It's not. You're going after the wrong person.”
