Paris Hilton, Fiancé Carter Reum share details of ‘romantic’ engagement

Paris Hilton and Fiancé Carter Reum appeared together for the first time in iHeartRadio podcast and shared details about their romantic engagement.

The 40-year-old proposed Hilton during their trip to Private Island although the latter confessed she was expecting him to propose in December on their first anniversary.

The businesswoman said, “When it didn't happen, I didn't say anything but I was a little bummed”.

She also told that Reum once said, “When I do ask you, it's going to be something even more amazing than this, so you'll see soon”.

The actress recalled that Reum told her to get ready when they arrived at the island so that they can take some pictures and then “he got down on one knee”.

She added, “I just started shaking and crying because I was so excited, so happy”. She also said that Reum told her that their families would be joining them at the beach too.

“It was so nice that he thought to have our families there to celebrate the moment” she said.

While talking about her last name after getting married, Paris said, “I'm going to take it, but I feel like a hyphenated thing like Paris Hilton-Reum, because my name is just my name. I like it”.

Talking about the singer, Reum stated, “The good and the bad of a creative mind like Paris', her creativity flows out in music, and art, and all these things. When it comes to keeping the house clean, her creativity also comes out. Every day is like a treasure hunt”.

Hilton responded, “I'm not the most organized person in the world”.

“Yeah, I don't think we're going to change that. If that's the only reason why you're not perfect, it could be way worse” Reum added.
