Callum Turner starrer 'Neuromancer' gets first trailer as Apple TV+ sets release date

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its highly anticipated sci-fi series Neuromancer giving fans a first look at the cyberpunk adaptation while confirming its January 2027 premiere.

Based on William Gibson's groundbreaking 1984 novel the series stars Callum Turner as Case a skilled hacker recruited for a dangerous heist.

The newly released footage showcases the show's futuristic Japanese-inspired setting featuring neon-lit cityscapes, samurai influences, intense action sequences and cutting-edge visual effects.

Alongside Turner the cast includes Briana Middleton, Joseph Lee, Mark Strong, Clémence Poésy, Peter Sarsgaard and Emma Laird with Max Irons, André De Shields, Isabella Pappas and Dane DeHaan also appearing.

Long regarded as one of the defining works of the cyberpunk genre Neuromancer has often been considered difficult to adapt because of its complex story, unique language and ambitious vision of cyberspace.

Apple TV+ officially ordered the series in 2024 with Graham Roland serving as showrunner and co-creating the project alongside J.D. Dillard who also directs the pilot episode.

The first two episodes will premiere on January 22, 2027 followed by weekly releases through March 19 making up a 10-episode first season.

Apple TV+ has not announced whether it plans to adapt Gibson's sequel novels though the source material leaves room for future seasons.
