Harry Styles has cancelled a scheduled concert in São Paulo, Brazil, just hours before he was due to perform, after organizers announced the show would not go ahead because of an unspecified health issue.

The concert, scheduled for Tuesday at MorumBIS Stadium, was part of the singer's Together, Together world tour.

In a statement, promoter Live Nation Brasil said the performance had been cancelled due to a "tour illness" but did not provide further details about the nature of the health concern.

Ticket holders will receive automatic refunds through their original payment method.

According to Daily Mail, fans affected by the cancellation will also be given priority access to a limited number of tickets for Styles' next São Paulo concert on Friday, subject to availability.

The cancellation comes less than a month after the Grammy-winning singer alarmed fans during a performance at London's Wembley Stadium, where he briefly fell to the stage after accidentally choking on water during one of his signature on-stage routines.

Although many initially feared he had collapsed due to the UK's extreme heatwave, representatives later clarified that the incident was caused by choking and that he quickly recovered before completing the show.

Furthermore, Styles has not publicly commented on the cancellation.

His Friday performance in São Paulo is still expected to proceed if he recovers in time, before the tour continues with dates in Mexico City and a 30-night residency at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
