Ryan Gosling’s ‘La La Land’ poster finally rectified, fans react

La La Land’s movie poster has finally been fixed a decade later after its release.

In a poster for the 10th anniversary re-release of the movie, Ryan Gosling’s hand has been edited so it points upward, mirroring that of his co-star Emma Stone on the poster.

Earlier, the original poster showed Gosling’s hand being held flat while the actor confessed, he didn’t know the real image shot in Griffith Park in Los Angeles at the time.

Gosling had no idea that the image would be used to promote his movie and therefore, he held his hand that way to look “cool”.

He described the position as the “La La Hand” and said that it “killed the energy” of the image.

However, the La La Land shared an edited posted on Instagram with a caption, “A minor adjustment.”

The fans expressed their excitement over the release of the poster, with one wrote, “Gosling will be so relieved.”

Another netizen was of the opinion, “It’s so weird seeing the hand this way after a decade of seeing it how it originally was.”

There are a few who believed that the original hand gesture looked perfect.

Meanwhile, the re-release of La La Land is scheduled for August 16.
