Kesha has revealed the unusual collection she's been building for more than a decade and insists it has one surprising side effect.
The 39-year-old pop star admitted she's amassed more than 1,000 human teeth, many of them sent in by devoted fans, after a chance request snowballed into one of her strangest hobbies.
Speaking on the Las Culturistas podcast, the TiK ToK hitmaker explained the obsession began when she became fascinated by her supporters.
After one fan mentioned their child had lost a tooth, Kesha jokingly asked if she could keep it and the requests never stopped.
Over the years, the singer has transformed the collection into a series of eye-catching accessories, including necklaces, earrings, a belt and even a crown.
But she admitted the real reason she keeps collecting them is because the bizarre habit unsettles some people.
Now, the star has gone a step further by displaying jars of human teeth throughout her home, insisting they would otherwise end up being thrown away.
Kesha urged fans not to discard their lost teeth, joking that she genuinely wants them and stressing the appeal isn't a publicity stunt.
Her fascination with unusual keepsakes doesn't stop there.
Earlier this year, she revealed she also treasures her cats' extracted teeth, describing them as meaningful reminders of the ones she loves.
Perhaps her most eyebrow-raising confession, however, involved a necklace made from her own mother's placenta.
Kesha explained that her mum, Rosemary, had the placenta preserved after her birth because she believed it carried spiritual significance.
Decades later, the Die Young singer had it turned into jewellery, which she now says she carries with her everywhere.
