Julia Garner and Mark Foster have finally decided to part ways after six years of their marriage.

Although the couple have not announced publicly, a source close to Garner and Foster confirms their breakup news to People magazine.

For the unversed, the couple first met each other in 2013 at the Sundance Film Festival and later in the same year, they started dating.

Prior to their marriage, Foster proposed the Ozark actress by reading her a poem he had written for her.

She earlier told Vogue, “He read me a poem he had written to me, and when he finished, he dropped to a knee and asked me to marry him.”

The Weapons actress further said that they chose City Hall over a larger wedding, and the decision was inspired by her parents, who had married there four decades ago. They reportedly got married in December 2019.

During their wedding ceremony, Garner revealed to the outlet that Foster surprised her by writing and performing an original song titled Lovers in a Stream for the couple’s first dance.

“It was a surprise… It was very surreal, and the most beautiful present I’ve ever received. It felt like I was floating up in the air — it was the most magical moment I’ve ever had,” she added.
