Justin Baldoni's heartfelt message sparks wave of love from friends

Justin Baldoni has been showered with support from his Jane the Virgin co-stars after finally speaking out following the end of his long-running legal battle with Blake Lively.

The 42-year-old actor shared an emotional Instagram video alongside his wife, Emily Baldoni, revealing how the past two years had taken a heavy emotional toll on their family. 

The heartfelt post quickly attracted messages of support, with former co-stars Gina Rodriguez and Brett Dier among the first to rally behind him.

Gina wrote: "Love you friends. Por vida," while Brett added: "I love you guys."

In the video, Justin admitted he and Emily had deliberately stayed silent throughout the legal dispute, despite feeling they had plenty to say.

"We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years," he explained, saying the couple believed it was best to let the justice system take its course rather than add to the public noise surrounding the case.

Emily described the experience as "a lot of trauma", while the Everwood star reflected on the difficult road to recovery.

"Healing isn't linear," he said, adding that the ordeal had reminded them what truly matters.

The emotional message comes two months after lawyers for Justin and Blake confirmed they had reached a settlement over their dispute linked to the 2024 film It Ends with Us, avoiding a trial.

Although Five Feet Apart star never mentioned the 38-year-old actress by name, the timing of the video made clear he was ready to turn the page.

Gina has stood firmly by her former co-star throughout the controversy, previously calling him "my brother forever". 

Justin later said her public support arrived at "a very special time" and meant more to him than she probably realised.
