Megan Thee Stallion leaves fans amused with viral food review

Megan Thee Stallion has shared her verdict on one of New York City's most talked-about food crazes after finally giving the viral butter ice cream a try.

The 31-year-old rapper took fans along for the ride on Instagram and TikTok as she sampled the unusual dessert, admitting she wasn't sure whether it would taste as good as it looked online.

The trendy treat features a soft-serve ice cream cone dipped into melted butter before being finished with a sprinkle of sea salt.

Notably, a combination that has divided social media users.

Filming from inside a car while dressed head-to-toe in blue, Megan confessed she had high hopes for the dessert but joked that her cone looked far less picture.

Her first taste prompted a puzzled expression and a burst of laughter as she struggled to decide what she thought of the buttery creation. 

After taking a few more licks and inspecting the cone, one of her friends jokingly asked if they should cancel the rest of the order.

The songstress quickly shut the idea down, laughing as she realised the unusual flavour lived up to its name.

Despite her hesitant first reaction, the Savage hitmaker ultimately gave the dessert a glowing review, declaring it "10 out of 10". 

She even sampled a friend's fruit-topped version before deciding she still preferred her own.

The Mamushi star later suggested the dessert could be even better if it were made with caramel ice cream, before asking her New York followers to recommend the next must-try local food.

The foodie adventure comes as Megan celebrates another career milestone after joining Andrea Bocelli and David Guetta on DNA (More Than a Game), the official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
