Olivia Wilde recalls harsh breakup with 'Ted Lasso' star Jason Sudeikis

Olivia Wilde has opened up about her past relationship with Ted Lasso star, Jason Sudeikis.

The American actress was in one of the high-profile relationships with the comedian for nine years before deciding to part ways.

Now she has opened up about the time when she realised that she couldn't take it anymore, and it was over between the two.

Sitting with the host, Alex Cooper for her podcast, Call Her Daddy, the 42-year-old recalled the exact moment.

She stated that it was her birthday right before COVID and the father of her children uttered harsh words in the most unhinged way to her, which were, "He said, ‘What would I get you, Olivia? I don’t know you.’ And he wasn’t wrong. We didn’t know each other anymore,"

Olivia highlighted that in her almost ten-year relationship, the time she invested was nothing at one point, since her partner didn't even know her likes and dislikes.

She added, "And that was the point when we realized it was over and it was f---ing tough, and it brought us to the place of like, ‘OK, this is done. We’re going to end this.’ And then literally two days later was lockdown,"

It is to be noted that the duo first met in 2011 during the Saturday Night Live finale wrap party and share two kids, Otis and Daisy.
