Taylor Swift’s friend finally receives an invite to the wedding of the year

Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding with Travis Kelce has already been making rounds, and the hot topic is their guest list, which has been kept a secret from her fans and the media.

For now, TMZ has reported that the Cruel Summer singer’s friend Karlie Kloss will be invited to the nuptials, which will be held on July 3.

According to Daily Mail, a source close to Taylor revealed that the singer has “some friendships that have become strained for various reasons”.

Therefore, Taylor “wants to be surrounded by those who can genuinely share the love and meaning of the day, especially the people who have played important roles in her life for years,” said an insider.

For the unversed, Taylor and Karlie, whose friendship began in 2013, previously hit a snag when Karlie tied the knot with Joshua Kushner.

Taylor, however, didn’t attend the wedding, citing “work commitments” because the insider hinted that the reason she avoided the event because of Scooter Braun, who was Karlie’s then-manager.

Earlier, Scooter acquired the singer’s catalog of albums in June 2019, a deal that left her “feeling grossed out” at the time.

At the time, the source told Daily Mail that the Opalite singer “came to believe that Karlie’s intentions were not as genuine as she once thought, and that the friendship became more about proximity to Taylor’s fame than a real bond”.

However, TMZ revealed that Taylor and Karlie have settled their differences, and now the supermodel will be on the guest list.
