Millie Bobby Brown has shared fresh details about her hopes for motherhood.
Speaking candidly, the actress revealed that building a family through adoption has long been part of her plans.
In a recent conversation on Kylie Kelce's Not Gonna Lie podcast, the star reflected,
“[I] always, always wanted to adopt. It was always part of my childhood dreams. Every time I was at home and I was, you know, five, six years old, my parents were like, ‘You had your baby dolls. They were all adopted.’ I never had any of them myself. And I never pretended I was pregnant.”
The 22-year-old actress clarified that she also hopes to have biological children one day, adding, “It's not because I don't want that. Hopefully one day that's in my future.”
Moreover, she explained that her studies in social work strengthened her interest in adoption.
“I loved the aspect of adoption in my social work courses… so meaningful and important. And then I also learned about being a birth mother and what that journey is,” she said.
The actress and husband Jake Bongiovi welcomed a daughter through adoption in 2025 and have continued to keep their family life largely private.
