Lily Collins says final 'Emily In Paris' season will have fans in tears

Fans of Emily in Paris are preparing to say “au revoir” after Netflix confirmed the glossy hit will end with its upcoming sixth season. 

And if the cast are emotional, viewers are likely to be in tears too.

The smash series, led by Lily Collins, is currently filming its final chapter in Greece before bringing Emily Cooper’s whirlwind European adventure to a stylish close. 

Since first landing on screens, the show has followed the ambitious Chicago marketing exec as she swapped the US for Paris and stumbled through love, heartbreak and luxury fashion in the French capital.

Creator Darren Star admitted the show has been “the trip of a lifetime” as he thanked fans for turning the Netflix drama into a global phenomenon.

He said the team were excited to share “this last chapter” and thanked viewers for embracing the romance, glamour and escapist charm that made the series a binge-watch sensation.

Meanwhile, Lily revealed the cast and crew are “pouring our hearts” into making the final season unforgettable. 

The Love, Rosie actress promised fans that season six will deliver “everything you love about the show” while giving Emily the send-off she deserves.

Away from the cameras, she also confessed she sees plenty of herself in her upbeat on-screen alter ego. 

The daughter of music legend Phil Collins said she shares Emily’s optimism and determination, although she learned much earlier in life that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.

For fans who fell in love with the fashion, romance and Parisian chaos, it’s almost time for one final chic goodbye.
