Britney Spears’ newly released arrest report has shed light on her March DUI arrest in Ventura County, California.
For those unversed, the Toxic singer was arrested on March 4 after being pulled over by police.
Although her breathalyzer results were reportedly below California’s legal alcohol limit, authorities claimed a drug recognition evaluation suggested she was “under the influence of a CNS stimulant.”
As per documents and videos obtained by People magazine, the songstress allegedly displayed “drastic mood swings” during the encounter and at times spoke “nonsensically.”
The outlet went on to add, the 44-year-old reportedly told officers she had consumed only one mimosa hours earlier and rated her intoxication level as “zero” out of 10.
“I could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I’m an angel,” she stated during the stop.
However, the authorities also allegedly found a bottle of Adderall that was not prescribed to the hitmaker.
Moreover, the publisher mentioned that she shared that she takes Lamictal for epilepsy and “mood swings,” while using Adderall to stay “elevated.”
At one point during the incident, she also invited officers to her home.
“You can come to my house — I’ll make you food or lasagna or whatever you want,” she said. “I have a pool.”
It is pertinent to mention that Spears later accepted a plea deal after pleading guilty to a wet reckless charge earlier this month.
She was sentenced to 12 months summary probation, fined $571 and ordered to complete a three month DUI program.
