Mistico honours BTS at historic CMLL event in Mexico

Mistico, born Luis Ignacio Urive Alvirde, stepped in the ring and became the talk of town for an unusual reason at the event.

The CMLL event was graced by the BTS members as they sat in the courtside with face masks on to hide their identities.

However, the 43-year-old did not shy away from honouring the pop icons as he donned a custom jacket with BTS shinning at the back.

The tribute by the WWE legend was “least expected” by the fans of both universes. The Hooligan crooners were spotted “supporting him” while they watched from the audience.

In a video, the champion stepped down from the ring and greeted each one of them, who were cheering for him from the audience.

According to reports, Jin, Suga, Jimin and Jungkook were present at the event. This came after the members paid a visit to the National Palace on a five-hour notice.

To everyone’s surprise, more than 50,000 Mexican fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the singers as they waved from the balcony.

They headlined the sold out shows in the city before moving on to next location as part of their much-anticipated global tour ARIRANG.

They are stopping at several places to support their new studio record that they released recently.
