Bill Maher pokes fun at Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni case settlement

Bill Maher is making light of the legal war between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni since it has just reached a settlement.

The comedian joked about the media frenzy and bombshell statements and accusations that took place between the two parties and their legal teams and compared the situation to the current political chaos.

At the beginning of his HBO show the television host said, “I know why you’re happy, great news. Peace at last. We have an agreement. A deal. A peace deal — not the Iran War, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. That’s who I’m talking about.”

“Oh, man. We’ve been reading about this for like a year it went on, All this arguing and suing, and it turns out: no settlement money at all. And all over a movie called ‘It Ends with Us’ that everyone hated? Did you see that movie? It was harder to get through than the Strait of Hormuz,” Maher added.

Lively and Baldoni have recently issued a joint statement highlighting that they have reached a settlement right before their trial but it was not of a financial nature.

Notably, the news came as a surprise since the It Ends With Us co-stars were unyielding since the first lawsuit regarding the mistreatment endured during the film was filed.

Fans have also started to social media to debate who got the shorter end of the stick.
