Tom Hanks’s son claims he wants to lead a simple life: Here’s why

Tom Hank’s son Chet claims he wants to lead a minimalist life in Nashville.

The Running Point star reveals that he has already moved into a trailer park during an appearance on latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Sharing real reason, Chet mentions that he’s now living in an RV rather than a traditional home as he wants to focus on his music career.

“I didn’t want to get an apartment because I literally just got a condo in LA and I furnished it,” explains the 35-year-old.

Tom’s son tells Jimmy that he “didn’t want to do that again… staying in Airbnbs and hotels gets really old because I just like having my own space”.

The reason he made this move was reportedly inspired by a recent road trip, where he stayed in an Airstream that led to lead a simple lifestyle.

“I was like, ‘Man, I want one of these,’” remarks the Forrest Gump actor’s son.

Chet points out that it’s “not an Airstream! I’m not there yet. But I’m really happy with it”.

After staying in a trailer, Tom’s son adds, “I have a fire pit and I have used it. But most of the time, I just do exactly what I do at home, which is just stay inside and lay in bed and watch Netflix.”
